As an educator, Katie has worked with students in resource, self-contained, individualized, and push in/inclusion models. As an EF coach, she has drawn on her training in executive function from the Rush Neurobehavioral Center to help work one-on-one with students to foster independent skill development.

She firmly believes that creating a positive and supportive climate for students to learn is the key to helping kids to feel good about themselves and foster ongoing success. Katie is currently in the process of becoming an ADHD-Certified Educator to provide targeted support to young people with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
