JANEE LEIGH

Janee Leigh is passionate about helping clients of all ages understand how to develop and apply executive functioning skills. Her extensive experience and keen insights make her one of those rare coaches who works equally well with children, teens, emerging adults, and adults. Clients find her warm, compassionate, thoughtful, highly organized, and relatable.

Janee became known early in her career for her work as an educational specialist providing behavioral assessments and equine therapy for children, adolescents, and families. Intrigued by the role of executive function in cognitive development, Janee founded a curriculum-based private school program focused on providing resources and guidance to target learners with EF skill deficits.

Upon receiving her MA in Education, Janee served as a Language Arts high school teacher, Theater Director, and Special Education Case Manager. For many years, she worked within the school system to help families secure accommodations that allowed students to thrive in school, while simultaneously working behind the scenes to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and staff to ensure responsible implementation of student IEPs, 504 Plans, and Behavior Plans.

Janee is currently pursuing her PhD in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on the academic research and application of best practices in the field of Executive Function. As an ADHD-Certified Educator, Janee is particularly well-qualified to support neurodiverse clients who struggle in the areas of attentional regulation, planning, organization, time management, and task completion. As a professional EF coach, she partners with clients to help them overcome procrastination and set up manageable systems to enable optimal daily functioning.
