Bryan Millington

As an ADHD-Certified Educator, Bryan has a long track record of helping students of various ability levels acquire the time management and organizational strategies necessary for academic success. Bryan started his own educational path in mechanical engineering at the University of Illinois and went on to earn a Master’s in Special Education with endorsements in Learning and Behavior Specialist (LBS) and Mathematics.

In his twenty-year career as an educator, Bryan has supported hundreds of neurodiverse high school students — from incoming freshman to graduating seniors. He’s worked as a math teacher, IEP case manager, and executive functioning coach who specializes in building positive relationships. Bryan believes that nothing is more rewarding than helping students gain independence and build self-confidence through the momentum of success, and he’s dedicated his career to collaborating with students, caregivers, and teachers to find creative solutions that build on individual strengths while supporting targeted areas of need.

Bryan’s calm and friendly demeanor allows him to connect with students and develop a caring and supportive coaching relationship. He believes that the ultimate goal in any type of coaching partnership is to build self-awareness and independence. Bryan works carefully with clients to build habits and strategies that students can use long after the formal coaching sessions have ended.

In his free time, Bryan enjoys spending time with his three children and two dogs. He loves reading, playing guitar, and genuinely enjoys the satisfaction of a challenging math problem.
