MELISSA STANTON

Melissa graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Before becoming a full-time Executive Functioning coach, Melissa worked for ten years as a Mental Health Clinician where she helped build strong and trusting relationships with clients of all ages.

As a clinician and EF coach, Melissa is passionate about helping her clients find their own internal resources and motivation to develop plans and strategies to overcome personal, academic, social, and behavioral issues. In addition to ADHD Certification, Melissa is also trained in the research-backed modalities of Motivational Interviewing and worked under Dr. Ross Green to become trained in the Collaborative and Proactive Solutions Method.

A fierce advocate for families who struggle with cognitive, emotional, and/or behavioral issues, Melissa collaborates regularly with parents and schools to help craft IEPs and 504 plans that support executive functioning development. In her coaching practice with adults, Melissa understands how executive functioning deficits affect daily functioning and works with clients to evaluate their habits and systems in order to meet each individual’s specific needs.

Melissa’s warmth, compassion, intuition, and years of professional experience set her apart as a beloved EF coach. Clients trust her as a partner on their journey towards executive functioning development and know they can count on her patience, reliability, and advocacy as they work towards independence.

When she’s not working, Melissa can be found reading books and hanging out around the house with her daughter. Together, they love to travel, chase adventures, get lost in the magic of Cirque du Soleil shows.
