colleen ginn

Colleen Ginn is an ADHD-Certified Executive Functioning Coach and School Counselor with over 10 years of experience helping students develop the executive functioning skills they need to succeed across a wide range of developmental stages.

Throughout her career in education, Colleen has worked closely with students, families, teachers, and support team members to strengthen skills in emotional regulation, organization, planning, time management, task initiation, cognitive flexibility, and self-advocacy. She has extensive experience managing IEPs and 504 Plans, many of which include accommodations designed to support executive functioning.

Drawing on her experience as a school counselor, Colleen brings a strengths-based, solution-focused approach to executive function coaching. She helps preteens, teens, and emerging adult clients understand that executive function challenges are not a reflection of intelligence or motivation, but that with the right support, strategies, and accountability, clients can develop the executive functioning skills needed to thrive.

Colleen believes that effective executive function coaching begins with understanding each client as an individual. By building on each client’s interests, strengths, and successes, she works collaboratively with clients to identify their goals, understand what is getting in the way of achieving them, and develop practical strategies to become more organized, capable, confident, and independent.

Outside of coaching, Colleen enjoys reading, watching hockey, traveling with her family and friends, and beating her husband at card games.
