JAX STRENG

An ADHD-Certified educator and seasoned Executive Functioning Coach, Jax Streng is passionate about equipping students with the tools to become more resilient, motivated, and self-confident.

Jax earned a dual Master’s of Clinical Psychology and Psychology in Education from Columbia University where she conducted research on building resilience and well-being among individuals with marginalized identities and concentrated on therapeutic and educational interventions for those struggling with depression and anxiety.

Highly empathetic and an excellent listener, Jax provides in-depth, comprehensive support for a range of executive functioning difficulties and diverse learning profiles. She has extensive experience supporting learners struggling with complex academic loads, as well as those facing challenges with their mental and physical health.

As a professional EF Coach, Jax is particularly well-suited to guide bright, high-achieving students who struggle with planning, prioritization, and perseverance. She especially enjoys helping students improve their GPAs, prepare for entrance exams, and demystify the college application process through the established foundation of client-centered goals based on robust executive functioning skills. Jax works to build and maintain a safe and calming space for each of her clients, no matter how challenging their situation.

In her free time, Jax volunteers as a youth mentor for a national LGBTQ+ non-profit organization and works with neurodiverse teens. She loves playing video games, cuddling with her foster kittens, and hiking trails in the Pacific Northwest.
